Position: Livestock Manager

Profile: Dane has always known he wanted to be a Livestock Agent. From the age of six, he was accompanying his grandfather to the local sale yards, where his passion for the livestock industry began. Growing up and attending school in South Gippsland, Dane remains closely connected to the community, with his own children now attending the same school.

During high school, Dane completed work experience as a Livestock Agent before spending the following 12 months undertaking weekly work placement in the industry. After finishing school in 2003, he joined Alex Scott & Staff as an 18-year-old and has proudly built his career with the company ever since.

Throughout his career, Dane has completed a Certificate III in Business, attended three Auctioneer Schools, become a registered AuctionPlus Assessor for online livestock sales and was appointed Livestock Manager at the Leongatha office. He has also completed his Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice (Agent Representative), expanding his expertise and preparing him for future opportunities in rural property sales.

Dane is a highly valued member of the Alex Scott & Staff Leongatha team and, above all, an all-round great bloke.
